Over the years I bet you’ve accumulated all sorts.
I know I have. Got about 30 t-shirts and a gazillion socks.
We’ve gotta make use of it!

You probably already have everything you need for adventures.
It’s layering that keeps you warm.
Waterproof jacket and trousers will keep you dry. Or an umbrella if you’ve not got waterproofs.
So that’s warmth and waterproof covered without spending a penny. I’m just sure you’ve already got at least a brolly!
The only real exception is shoes. Waterproof ones are worth the investment, because they keep your feet dry and blister free. Check out my article on hiking shoes here.
Also, if you are packing light, perhaps it makes sense to upgrade for the most effective gear. This is because you haven’t the room for layers. Check out the products list for what’s hot!
Just remember to pass on what you are finished with. Perhaps you can donate to a charity shop, or to a friend who would like it. I’m not very good at this. I have way more clothes than I need!

Maybe you’ve got gear that’s damaged or broken?
Fix it!
Rips and tears can be sewn or patched. Go to a repair shop if you can’t do it yourself. I’m sure you can though! 🙂
Let’s embrace wearing old clothes.
Nans and mothers are there to help you repair things. Use them!
Why the focus on reusing?

Clothing waste is a huge issue. According to ChatGPT, A garbage truck of clothes is dumped in landfill or burned every second. And 60% of clothing is thrown out within a year. 🙁
It’s part of the Forever Goods mindset to make good use out of what you’ve got.
Come on Forever Gang, let’s each do our bit!
I’ll be leading the way.
